Complaint

Any expression of dissatisfaction relating to activities of Accredion Qualis or a certified client โ€” including doubts about a certified client's conformity to the standard.

Appeal

A request for reconsideration of a certification decision that adversely affects the applicant or certified client โ€” for example a certificate not granted, suspended or withdrawn.

How to submit

Submit in writing to complaints@scudocyber.com with the following information:

How we handle it

Acknowledgement

Within 3 working days of receipt, in writing, with a case reference number.

Review of admissibility

Within 10 working days โ€” a check that the matter is within scope and that we have sufficient information to investigate. If not, we request clarification.

Investigation

Assigned to a person independent of the original activity being complained about. Investigation may include interviews, review of audit records, and a site visit if warranted.

Decision

Communicated in writing within 90 calendar days of admissibility (extended only in exceptional circumstances, with reasons communicated). Decision includes findings, remedy (if any) and reasoning.

Further escalation

If unsatisfied with the outcome, you may request further review by the Impartiality Committee, whose decision is final within our internal process.

Independence Complaints and appeals are investigated by personnel who were not involved in the certification activity in question. Decisions on appeals are taken by a person or group other than that which took the original certification decision.

Confidentiality The identity of the complainant is treated as confidential and disclosed only with consent, or where disclosure is required by law. Retaliation against a complainant is prohibited.

Records

All complaints and appeals โ€” and their resolutions โ€” are recorded and analysed for trends. Anonymized summaries are reviewed by the Impartiality Committee.
