Accredion Qualis's certification services are available on non-discriminatory terms and are not conditional on any factor unrelated to the applicant's ability to meet the requirements of the standard.
Policy
Accredion Qualis does not restrict access to certification, or impose conditions on certification, based on:
- Size of the applicant organization
- Sector or nature of the applicant's business, save where a competent audit cannot be delivered in that sector
- Membership of any association, group, chamber of commerce or industry body
- Number of certificates already issued in the sector or geography
- Nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or political affiliation of the applicant's owners, personnel or clients
- Ability to purchase additional (non-certification) services from ScudoCyber Solutions or its affiliates
Cases where certification cannot be delivered
Accredion Qualis may decline an application only where:
- The scope requested is outside the standards we operate.
- We do not currently have competent audit personnel for the sector, geography or language — in which case we disclose the reason and, on request, refer the applicant to another certification body where possible.
- Providing certification would violate applicable law or sanctions.
- Certifying the applicant would create an unmanageable conflict of interest — in which case we disclose the conflict and, on request, refer the applicant elsewhere.
Access to policy and complaints
An applicant or certified client who believes they have been treated in a discriminatory manner may raise the matter through the Complaints and Appeals channel. Such complaints are investigated by personnel independent of the original decision.
